First details

Ok, bad news first: I have been ill for two weeks and I couldn't work on anything during that time. Unfortunately, the deadline for the compos is too near, so I missed my chance to enter.

On the other hand, since I don't need to keep it secret anymore, I will give the first details about the project. It will be a fighting game about Naruto, the world famous anime. Fully cel-shaded 3D characters fighting 1 vs 1, and will use the touch screen to select and perform special attacks.

I will need some help in the future from 3D artists, because I really suck at texturing and animating.

Finally, here is the first image:


Naruto character fully animated and ready to kick some asses. I hope I'm fine in 2-3 more days, so I can continue working on it.

Graphic engine finished

After 2 weeks of hard work to get familiar with ndslib, I'm glad to announce that my first 3D engine for the DS is up and running. All features implemented and no bugs left, so now I can start to make the game itself!

Let's get the real coding started!

I just received my NeoFlash two days ago (thx NeoFlash team). I have to say that it works really well, and I'm making great progresses now that I can try things on real hardware.

Currently, I'm working on a 3D toon shading engine for a game that some of you will love... ^^ I'm keepeng the details secret until I have something solid to show off (a month or so), but stay tuned, as I can give some clues in the future if I feel like it... :)
